DREAM was created to give children growing up in vulnerable conditions in rural Rwanda the opportunity to attend school regularly and to develop in a safe, stable environment.

Many families in rural areas face difficult choices. Limited financial resources often force children to contribute to household labor or long daily tasks, such as fetching water, instead of attending school.
